Dan is a cartoonist living in the great American central time zone. He enjoys many outdoor activities such as running, eating and driving around with the air conditioner on. Dan was born during the Nixon administration and grew up reading old Peanuts collections that his mom would pick up at garage sales along with his outfits.

His cartooning ways began in earnest at Indiana University where he contributed a strip to the Daily Student newspaper. Entitled College and featuring Implosion Boy, the strip later ran in approximately two dozen college newspapers. Dan's current project, Steve, was recognized with a Finetoon Fellowship by the Washington Post Writers Group. In addition to comic strips, Dan has done illustrations for magazines, children's books and the occasional nursery for friends.
